San Diego Wave FC announced today that the club has signed goalkeeper Morgan Messner to a one-year contract.
Messner, 24, was a three-year starter at Boston University before transferring to Penn State University for her final two years of collegiate soccer. The Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania native made 32 appearances and 106 saves across her college career. Messner went on to play for the USL W side, Racing Louisville FC in 2022 before joining the Chicago Red Stars preseason roster in 2023 where she signed with the club as a National Team Replacement.
