Melanie Barcenas continues to make her mark for the Wave, recording seven goals this season to establish a new NWSL single season record for goals by a teenager. At 18 years old, she surpassed the previous record shared by Sam Kerr, Mallory Swanson, Trinity Rodman, Jaedyn Shaw, Olivia Moultrie and Emeri Adames.
