San Diego Wave FC forward Kyra Carusa has been named to the Republic of Ireland Women’s National Team roster ahead of the UEFA Women’s National League.

In what will be Ireland’s first games back from appearing at the FIFA Women’s World Cup, the Girls in Green will host Northern Ireland at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland. The match will take place on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 5:00 a.m. PT, as it marks the first-ever match for the Ireland WNT at Aviva Stadium. Ireland will then travel to Budapest, Hungary, to face the Hungarian WNT on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 10:30 a.m. PT.

Carusa signed this summer with the Wave following her World Cup debut. The San Diego native has since appeared in three matches (one start) for the club, while recording one goal.

Carusa and the Wave return to regular-season action this Saturday, Sept. 16, as the club hosts Latino Heritage Night. The match is slated to kickoff at 7:00 p.m. PT at Snapdragon Stadium with tickets available here.
