San Diego Wave FC today announced the latest promotional updates for the rest of the 2023 season with a limited-edition San Diego Wave FC Basketball Jersey, presented by PNC Bank, on Oct. 15, topping the list of giveaways.
The Wave gears up for its World Cup Welcome Back match on Sunday, Sept. 3, to recognize the club’s international players after the FIFA Women’s World Cup with a unique stadium experience versus Houston Dash. The first 10,000 fans through the stadium gates will receive a limited-edition World Cup Waves Bucket Hat. Kickoff is slated for 5:00 p.m. PT.
To kick off Latino Heritage Month, the Wave invite fans to the club’s Latino Heritage Night, presented by McDonald’s, on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 7:00 p.m. PT. The Wave have designed limited-edition merchandise for the match that will be available online and in-venue for the match. Proceeds from the merchandise will benefit the Chicano Federation.
San Diego’s final regular-season home match will be the club’s Fan Appreciation Day, presented by PNC Bank, on Sunday, Oct. 15 at 2:00 p.m. PT. The first 10,000 fans receive an exclusive and one-of-kind basketball jersey.
Additional information, including activations, pre-game festivals and more, will be provided closer to the matches. The full list of giveaways and themes for the remainder of the 2023 San Diego Wave season include:
