Fusco will join Louisville for the remainder of the 2026 season

SAN DIEGO (Sept. 9, 2026) – San Diego Wave FC announced today that the club has loaned midfielder Jordan Fusco to Racing Louisville FC for the remainder of the 2026 season. Racing Louisville will have an option for a permanent transfer in January 2027.

“We’re grateful to Jordan for her contributions to the club this season,” said Camille Ashton, San Diego Wave FC General Manager and Sporting Director. “We worked closely with Jordan to find an opportunity where she can continue to pursue more playing time, and we wish her the best of luck in Louisville.”

Fusco returned to San Diego in March following a loan spell with Tampa Bay Sun Football Club of the USL Super League. The 22-year-old has made nine appearances for the Wave in 2026, recording one assist.

Fusco originally signed with San Diego ahead of the 2025 season and made eight regular-season appearances in her rookie campaign. She also helped Wave FC capture the inaugural World Sevens Football championship, contributing one goal and one assist during the tournament. In December 2025, Fusco signed a new two-year contract with San Diego through the 2027 season.

Prior to turning professional, Fusco spent her final collegiate season at Penn State University, starting all 25 matches and recording three goals and a team-leading 12 assists in 2024. She previously played three seasons at the University of Tennessee, earning First Team All-SEC honors in 2023.
