Wave opens historic second season on March 25 at Snapdragon Stadium

San Diego Wave FC today announced its 2023 theme nights schedule ahead of its second season of play in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). This season, the Wave will host seven theme nights, including fan favorites like Military Night, presented by PenFed Credit Union, Pride Night, Latino Heritage Night and Rivalry Match, presented by Kaiser Permanente, as the club celebrates its first full season at Snapdragon Stadium.

The club’s theme nights begin with the Wave’s Home Opener against the Chicago Red Stars on Saturday, March 25. The event will launch with the club’s Fan Fest outside of Snapdragon Stadium before kickoff at 7:00 p.m. PT. The first 5,000 fans will receive a limited-edition schedule magnet. Wave FC will open its 2023 campaign on Saturday, March 25, at Snapdragon Stadium. Scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. PT, the match against the Chicago Red Stars kicks off the Wave’s first full season at the all-new Snapdragon Stadium.
