San Diego Wave FC today announced that the club has acquired $40,000 in Allocation Money from Angel City FC in exchange for midfielder Meggie Doughtery Howard.
Doughtery Howard, 28, joined the Wave ahead of the 2023 NWSL season in a trade with Orlando Pride. In her first year with the club, Doughtery Howard played in 12 matches (eight starts). A seven-year veteran of the league, she’s appeared in over 100 matches across all competitions.
