PROFESSIONAL: Kornieck was the third overall pick in the 2020 NWSL College Draft by Orlando Pride. In September 2020, she joined German Bundesliga Club MSV Duisburg on loan and appeared in 11 matches across all competitions scoring one goal and one assist. In 2021, Kornieck returned to Orlando from her loan before being traded to San Diego.
INTERNATIONAL: Kornieck Captained the U-18 USWNT in 2016. In 2017, Kornieck played six matches between the U-20 and U-19 squads, scoring her first international goal in July 2017 in a win over England.
COLLEGE: Kornieck is an alumna of San Diego Surf Soccer program and former collegiate standout at University of Colorado – Boulder. She was the first All-American in Buffalos history and departed at the all-time points leader in school history (102 points). In her freshman season, she was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, All-Pac-12 First Team, All Pac-12 All-Freshman Team, NSCAA First-Team AllPacific Region, and TopDrawerSoccer Freshman Best XI First Team. In her sophomore season, Kornieck was named to United Soccer Coaches All-West Region First Team, All-Pac-12 Second Team, MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List. In Korineck’s junior season, she was listed on the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List, ESPNW Player of the Year Watch, named United Soccer Coaches Second-Team All American, All-Pac-12 First Team, and named to the United Soccer Coaches First-Team All-Pacific Region. In her final season as a Buffalo, Kornieck was Named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List, All-Pac-12 First Team, United Soccer Coaches Women’s All-Pacific First Team and United Soccer Coaches Third Team All American.
PERSONAL: Kornieck has a brother, Nick, who played basketball at Cal State Dominguez Hills. Her mother, Kristen, was a professional volleyball player.
