Kayla Bruster

COLLEGE: During her 2017 freshman season at University of Georgia, Bruster played in 14 games, making 13 starts on the Bulldog’s backline and earned the J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Honor Roll. During her 2018 sophomore season, Bruster started all 18 games on defense, and earned SEC Honor Roll. During her 2019 junior season, Bruster started in 17 games and was first Team All-SEC, named to the Dean’s List of the J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Honor Roll, SEC Honor Roll, inducted into L.E.A.D., the UDA Athletic Association’s Leadership Academy. During her 2020 senior season, Bruster started 12 matches, was second Team All-SEC, named to United Soccer Coaches AllSoutheast Region Third Team, named to the SEC Honor Roll, named again for the J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Honor Roll. During her 2021 graduate season, Bruster started all 19 games and named to SEC Preseason Watch List.

PERSONAL: Kayla grew up in Atlanta, Georgia with her parents Sherman and Kathy Bruster, and sister, Baleigh Bruster.
