And we are seeking a Manager of Social Media & Content Creation to join our mission so we can share our story, increase, and delight our fans. This is a full-time role where our Manager of Social Media & Content Creation is responsible for creating and executing our social media strategy and platform presence across applicable networks. At Wave FC, we collaborate to tell our story, so this position works closely with internal teams and external vendors. ROLE & RESPONSIBILIITES:

  • Share in our mission.
  • Create, plan, implement, analyze, revise, social media growth strategy to continually improve on engagement, and increase brand awareness.
  • Create the optimal balance of community building with commercialization.
  • Oversee the day-to-day content management and community engagement on of all social media platforms (et al. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Tiktok, and Youtube).
  • Adapt content to each platform.
  • Stay up to date on the latest platforms, marketing and community engagement techniques, and trends of targeted demographic.
  • Report on and recommend improvements to continually improve performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors or media to amplify our message to the intended audiences including but not limited to brand & player announcements, product unveilings, annual player draft day, corporate partnership announcements/events, clinics and seminar advertising.
  • Become a key content creator/contributor working closely with brand, content, communications, and sales teams to collaborate on marketing and sales campaigns.
  • Manage time and resources to achieve project deadlines and budgets.
  • Attend club events, player training, press conferences, and home games to capture and/or obtain social media content i.e. photography, video footage, etc.
  • Collaborate with bi-lingual content creators to develop original Spanish language content and translate stories into Spanish.

A CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS:

  • 5+ years of experience in social media management
  • Experience managing production timelines, collaborating communications, social media verticals, merchandise as well as external vendors
  • Your writing skills are exceptional (you’ve already thought of a better way to write this posting)

  • Exceptional at building online (and in-person) relationships
  • Professional, positive, and proactive
  • Effective communication skills, solid attention to detail, and solutions orientated
  • Desire and ability to take on responsibilities in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Possess the desire and capability to create compelling, unique stories and ideas.
  • Passion for the success of Women’s Professional Sports in an exciting new sports landscape
  • Advanced applied knowledge of Adobe Creative, MS Office suite, and project management software
  • Bilingual – English & Spanish, preferred

This is a full-time role where our Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for helping create and executing our community engagement and demand generation strategy. ROLE & RESPONSIBILIITES:

  • Share in our mission.
  • Manage and achieve ambitious lead generation goals.
  • Oversee paid media planning and execution working with outside media partners.
  • Build and execute integrated go-to-market plans across all touch-points for major commercial initiatives for the club.
  • With the VP, Head of Marketing, build the foundation of marketing metrics, analytics, and reporting that allows us to make data-driven decision to propel us forward.
  • Develop successful campaign strategies across Paid, Earned and Owned channels that drive fan growth, ticket sales, merchandise sales and sponsor value.
  • Develop target audiences to reach via different campaigns.
  • Build a reporting dashboard showing metrics for key promotionsLead market research and survey strategies to measure brand awareness, brand sentiment, and interest in ticket sales and merchandise sales.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors for services needed to execute a marketing strategy.
  • Stay up to date on the latest in sports, marketing, and corporate and community engagement techniques and trends; identify needs and lead recommendations to adapt to achieve set goals.
  • Manage internal teams and external vendors or media to launch and execute on our marketing strategies, initiatives, and campaigns on time and within budget maximizing ROI.
  • Own the promotional calendar for the club to coordinate promotions around game day, ticket sales, etc.
  • Regularly attend club events, player training, press conferences, and home games.
  • Collaborate with bi-lingual content creators to develop Spanish marketing campaigns.
  • Adapt quickly as business needs arise.

QUALIFIED?

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing management
  • Experience managing people, campaigns, budgets, and aggressive timelines
  • Your exceptional at building rapport and relationships
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding marketing objectives and goals
  • Available for game day and other events (often outside of traditional business hours)
  • Professional, positive, and proactiveEffective communication skills, solid attention to detail, and solutions orientated
  • Desire and ability to take on responsibilities in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Passion for the success of Women’s Professional Sports
  • Advanced applied knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Bilingual – English & Spanish, preferred
