Craig Barclay

Barclay was a local hire from youth sports club, Surf Soccer Club, where he served as the Director of Coaching and Head Coach in the ECNL and USSDA. While at Surf, Barclay helped develop several top players across the nation including Wave FC homegrown forward Melanie Barcenas. With an incredible breadth of knowledge in California club soccer, Barclay was hired as Wave FC’s development coach and to assist younger players in the integration and growth within the team.

Since joining Wave in 2023, Barclay was promoted to Assistant Coach in the summer of 2023 during Wave FC’s NWSL Shield winning season.
