PROFESSIONAL: McGrady comes to San Diego from the NWSL’s Washington Spirit, where she was the No. 7 overall draft pick in 2019 NWSL Draft and played a key part of their defensive structure that propelled them to the 2021 NWSL Championship. At left back, she demonstrated resolve and consistency playing a total of 2,258 minutes in 34 matches this past season and pass rate of 72 percent or better every season while at Washington.

INTERNATIONAL: McGrady made her USWNT senior team debut April 8, 2018 against Mexico… Has appeared for U.S. U-23 National Team, recording two assists. She attended U.S. U-20 camps in 2016 and traveled with the team for the La Manga tournament in Spain. McGrady participated in U.S. U-19 camp in July 2015 and went to U.S. U-18 camp in May 2014. In 2013 she joined U.S. U-17s for the CONCACAF Championships.

COLLEGE: McGrady appeared in 72 games and made 61 starts over four years with Stanford. During the course of collegiate career she scored four goals, created 13 assists totaling 21 points, including three game-winning goals. McGrady won a 2017 NCAA Championship with the Cardinals. McGrady’s collegiate career was decorated with accolades. She was named 2015 Pac-12 All-Freshman Team, 2016 All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention, Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention, 2017 United Coaches Academic AllRegion third team, 2017 All-Pac-12 second team, 2018 MAC Hermann Trophy watch list, 2018 Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention, 2018 TopDrawerSoccer Best XI third team, 2018 United Soccer Coaches Academic All-America first team, and 2018 All-America third team.
