Acquired via multi-player trade with the Chicago Red Stars ahead of the 2022 NWSL draft; trade also included Kelsey Turnbow and Katie Johnson

PROFESSIONAL: Doniak was drafted by Western New York Flash in the 2016 NWSL College Draft. She won the NWSL Championship with the Flash during their 2016 season. In 2017, she joined the North Carolina Courage and helped them claim the 2017 NWSL Shield. Doniak was loaned to the Australian club, Adelaide United for the 2018 season and led the team in scoring. Later that year, she was traded to the Utah Royals. In 2020, Doniak was traded to the Chicago Red Stars and scored three goals over 18 games (seven starts) for Chicago. Wave FC will be Doniak’s fifth NWSL team, as she has compiled seven goals over 69 career NWSL matches.

INTERNATIONAL: Doniak scored one goal for the United States at the 2014 U-20 World Cup in Canada. She also represented the United States at the U-18, Under-20 and Under-23 levels.

COLLEGE: Doniak had a storied college career (2012-15) and was a two-time Mac Hermann Semi-Finalist, three-time First Team All-ACC selection, 2015 ACC Offensive Player of the Year, two-time NCSAA First Team All American, NCAA All-Tournament Team, and ACC All-Tournament team. She left the University of Virginia as the Cavaliers’ all-time leader in goals (64) and points (164).

PERSONAL: Doniak grew up in Chino Hills, California with her parents, Lori and Dave, and her two older sisters, Kylie and Alyssa. Doniak comes from a family of athletes, her mother played tennis and her father played football at Long Beach State. Doniak’s older siblings played college soccer, Kylie played at Texas and Alyssa played at St. Mary’s.
