PROFESSIONAL: Riehl signed with Sky Blue FC as the 11th Pick in the 2020 NWSL College Draft. After the 2020 season with Sky Blue, Riehl played on loan for Paris FC for 6 months. Later that year she was drafted by Racing Louisville in the 2020 NWSL Expansion Draft. In 2021, she was drafted in the 2022 Expansion Draft to the San Diego Wave FC.

INTERNATIONAL: Riehl played for US youth national team at the U20 World Cups in 2014 and 2016. She has played with the U18s, U20s, U23s and has played in one full team camp.

COLLEGE: Riehl was a rock along the back line for Penn State, playing in 101 career games. Her 8,847 minutes for the Nittany Lions is a NCAA record for a position player. During her 2015 freshman season, Riehl helped lead Penn State to the NCAA Championship and was named to the Women’s College Cup All-Tournament Team. She earned Big 10 All-Freshman team honors and All-Big Ten second team. In 2017, Riehl was Named United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region second team, Big Ten All-Tournament Team, Defensive Player of the Big Ten Tournament, All-Big Ten second team, Academic All-Big Ten and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. In 2018, she was named United Soccer Coaches first team All-American, MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist, All-North Region First Team, Big Ten Defender of the Year, first team All-Big Ten, Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and TopDrawerSoccer National Collegiate Second Team. In her final collegiate season, Riehl was Named United Soccer Coaches second-team All-American, United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American first team. She was also as Ernest B. McCoy Memorial Award recipient, All-North Region first team, first-team All-Big Ten, Awarded Big Ten Medal of Honor, TopDrawerSoccer Best XI first team and CoSIDA Academic All-District.

PERSONAL: Riehl grew up in Fairfax Station, Virginia with her parents Lori and Mark, and sister, Kristen. Her father, Mark, played soccer at University of Virgina. Riehl attended Penn State University where she studied Kinesiology.
